Throughout the course, we will prompt you to practice what you've learned with a language partner or a tutor. Practicing with real people is one of the most effective ways to improve your Chinese. Here are the best options available:

1 - iTalki – Paid Tutoring

iTalki is a trusted platform where you can book 1-on-1 lessons with tutors or professional teachers. Since you just need someone to practice speaking with, choose "Community tutors", they are native speakers and cost around $15+ per hour. 2 - Our group chats

You can also join our Telegram or Discord groups and find a language partner there. Introduce yourself, and let everyone know your level and that you're looking for a language partner!

3 - HelloTalk & Tandem
These free apps let you connect with speakers around the world for free. However, be aware:

• Many users aren’t serious learners
• There's often spam and inconsistent engagement

Use them to test the waters, but for consistent progress, we recommend iTalki or our group chats.

You can send your writing to your tutor and get corrections. We recommend that you do at least one hour of online tutoring for each unit of this course.
